SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown have finally reached 100% vaccination status of employees.
“Getting all our employees inoculated is our main goal. No single message will persuade everyone to get vaccinated, but with constant reminder that vaccination will protect us, our family and our
customers, all our mall employees were finally inoculated,” said SM City Olongapo Central Asst. Mall Manager Engr. Ariel Ferrer.
Through the joint effort of SM Olongapo malls and the Local Government Unit (LGU), employees, agency personnel, affiliates and mall tenants have successfully achieved the 100% vaccination status.
It can be recalled that the City Health Office started the vaccination activity in SMX Convention Center in March 2021 with only limited number of vaccines a day. Today, vaccines reached a total of 2000 recipients per day in SMX Convention Center and 1000 in SM City Olongapo Downtown.
“We are calling on everyone to register and get vaccinated, madami na po tayong bakuna, protektahan po natin ang ating sarili, ang ating pamilya at ang bawat isa,” remarked Dr. Rodrick Bustamante, city health office head.
As part of the continuing efforts in preventing the further spread of COVID-19, SM malls all over the country provide convenient, safe, and accessible venues for the community to get vaccinated. Through their long-standing relationship with the LGUs, SM malls remain committed in ensuring the health and safety of the public.
